Discography
In 2013, the Abai and Shakarim Suites composed by Karl Jenkins inspired by Kazakh folklore were recorded at Angel, the famous recording studio in London.

In 2015, Disc 1 of the Kazak-Yeli trilogy by composer Sairash was recorded at the Alexander Shevchenko's Studio. That was the first recording of an orchestra from Kazakhstan released by the Universal label.

The official international sale of the Nomad double CD album started in Mumbai in September 2016 in collaboration with Sony DADC. Over three years, from 2013 to 2016, Marat Bisengaliyev and Almaty Symphony held a number of recording sessions at the best European recording studios.
Innovations
The year 2017 was marked by launching a large-scale Energy of Sound Show to the music of Sir Karl Jenkins, an outstanding contemporary composer, winner of 20 Gold and Platinum Discs. The show was scripted and directed by Vasily Barkhatov, a director of the Mariinsky and Bolshoi Theaters, and produced by Kairat Kulbayev. Marat Bisengalyiev appeared there as the soloist.

The Energy of Sound is an impressive an-hour-and-a-half journey on the waves of the Universe's history, a unique opportunity to feel all the beauty and grandeur of outer space with the help of sound and 3D visualizations.

Another collaboration of this creative tandem brought the Mr. Adam Show into the world. The musical narrative shows different stages of human life from birth to philosophical understanding of the path traveled. In March 2019, the Show won the Event of the Year National Award in Moscow in the nomination "Best Application of Innovative Technologies".

Cultural Heritage
In 2020, the Orchestra supported a project organized by the Art-Mirai Private Foundation, the Altyn Art 2020 composer competition, where participants were invited to write a piece specifically for the ASO.

The works of the winners were included in the repertoire of the Orchestra. In this way, the Almaty Symphony contributes to the preservation, promotion, and popularization of Kazakh academic music and the music of Kazakh composers, both locally and worldwide.
Mission
The ASO promotes the idea of the importance of music education for a harmonious development of an individual.

We try to expand the boundaries of the classical music perception and attract a wider audience to our concerts. The Almaty Symphony takes an innovative approach to its activities, respects technical progress, and is always happy to be engaged in any experiments and collaborations.

The Almaty Symphony also often happily takes part in social projects and charity concerts.

Every time the Orchestra steps out on the stage, the event turns into a great performance, which creates a memorable impression on the audience. The ASO is the only private orchestra in Kazakhstan with no public funding.

Today, the Almaty Symphony has become a symbol of Almaty, the cultural capital of Kazakhstan, as it admirably represents it at performances held in Kazakhstan and abroad.
