An ethno-aul (an ethno village) was established on the Croisette embankment, where everyone could sit on a large national swing altyn-bakan, relax in the cool of a yurt and taste Kazakh national dishes.
There were no vacant seats to sit in the Palace of Festivals, where the ASO performed.
Our orchestra, led by Marat Bisengaliyev, performed the Abai and Shakarim Suites. These compositions were written by the English composer Karl Jenkins for the ASO.
